In Australia, the Australian Computer Society (ACS) is the authorised accreditation body for ICT‑related higher education programs. At present, the Swinburne Bachelor of Computer Science and Master of Cybersecurity programs delivered in Australia are accredited by ACS. As a newly established educational institution, Barzan University College (BUC) does not yet have a graduating student cohort eligible for ACS accreditation assessment.

Accreditation for the Bachelor of Computer Science and Master of Cybersecurity at BUC will be pursued as soon as it is feasible to do so within the accreditation timelines and requirements set by ACS.
