From 26th to 31st July 2025, Barzan University College (BUC) hosted its highly anticipated “Meet Our Professors – Plan Your Future” week at the BUC Admissions Office, offering students and parents a rare opportunity to engage directly with world-class academics from Swinburne University of Technology (SUT).

The event drew a significant footfall of aspiring students and their families, all eager to explore how a globally recognized Australian degree could shape their futures. Interest was so high that the first three days were fully booked, with many students patiently waiting for open slots later in the week.

Over six days, students and parents had the chance to sit down for dedicated 45-minute sessions with visiting Swinburne academics:

• Julian Vieceli – Associate Professor, Business & Marketing
• Pat Rajeev       – Senior Lecturer, Civil & Construction Engineering
• Atie Kia            – Lecturer, Computing Technologies

These one-on-one conversations offered deep insight into career pathways, academic majors, global transfer options, and future industry trends, allowing students to make informed decisions based on their interests, skills, and ambitions.

The energy, curiosity, and commitment shown by the students left a lasting impression on our faculty. The feedback from both parents and students was overwhelmingly positive, many shared how valuable the personalized advice was in helping them gain clarity and confidence about their academic journey.
